Manufacturing Assistance Center Collaborative Learning

The MAC is dually focused on affordable and accessible educational pathways for every type of learner, young and experienced.

We currently offer basic machining and CNC programming and operations with more offerings coming after our space renovation and move in this coming spring of 2025. Our focus is training and upskilling the workforce, as well as out-of-the-box strategies for flexible and collaborative partnerships with area businesses. The MAC is a resource to assist with manufacturing, tool and die, and economic development in our region.

The Manufacturing Assistance Center will:

Replicate its world-renowned Manufacturing Assistance Center and offer comprehensive precision machinist training programs, enabling students to master the technical skills regional employers seek.
Setup and operations of manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machining and coding.
Training on computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software.
Technical math and communication skills.
